Dennis Close is a serial entrepreneur and CEO of Patriot X, a private capital and financial engineering platform specializing in large-scale investment structures across infrastructure, digital assets, and alternative finance. Patriot X focuses on internal mandates and institutional strategies, developing proprietary financial systems and blockchain-integrated frameworks that serve sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and private investment vehicles worldwide.
He is also a Partner at Liquidity One, now integrated with Bosonic—a leading fintech firm providing custodian-agnostic, real-time settlement, collateral optimization, and tokenization solutions via a regulated broker-dealer and Alternative Trading System (ATS). This partnership enhances Patriot X’s capital deployment by reducing counterparty credit and settlement risks.
Dennis leads Dice Holdings, a multi-generational family-owned advisory firm focused on private investments, capital structuring, and real estate development. Dice Holdings serves as a long-term platform for capital formation, asset repositioning, and strategic advisory.
Since 2012, Dennis has successfully led ventures across dynamic sectors, applying analytical and operational expertise to identify inefficiencies, unlock value, and create cost-effective growth solutions.
Early in his career, Dennis founded a yacht brokerage firm in South Florida specializing in custom sportfishing yachts, including Rybovich, Garlington, and Tribute Boats, as well as production yachts like Viking and Hatteras, and superyachts up to 164 feet. He oversaw new construction and major refit projects, building strong relationships within the yachting and marine investment communities. This experience laid the groundwork for his involvement in developing iconic marina destinations, where he combines real estate strategy, infrastructure investment, and operational expertise to create premier waterfront assets.
Recognized for leading complex financial transactions and structuring innovative capital solutions, Dennis actively holds board roles and partnerships with several private companies. He is a dedicated advocate for military veterans and a strong supporter of nonprofit organizations focused on combating crimes against children.
Dennis is a graduate of the University of North Florida and Naval Officer Indoctrination School in Newport, Rhode Island. He resides in Palm Beach, Florida.
