Dennis Close is a senior executive, principal, and former U.S. Navy submariner operating across institutional capital systems, maritime & digital infrastructure, and industrial sectors.
He began his career in U.S. Navy submarine operations, serving in mission-critical roles requiring absolute precision, technical discipline, and zero-fail execution standards—foundations that continue to define his approach to complex environments.
Following his military service, Dennis built a career in the yacht and marine industries, where he led yacht brokerage teams, new build sales & marketing, and refit operations, working directly with ultra-high-net-worth clients and shipyard partners across major U.S. and international programs. He was responsible for the delivery and commissioning of 200+ new build yachts, alongside brokerage transactions and large-scale refit projects, and contributed to marina infrastructure development supporting superyachts exceeding 300 feet.
In recent years, he has transitioned into institutional capital and private operating platforms, where he serves as a principal and managing partner with direct responsibility for strategy, execution, and capital deployment across institutional-grade technology, digital infrastructure, and regulated financial systems.
His experience includes senior leadership roles in financial technology environments serving regulated markets, including serving as Partner and Chief Revenue Officer of Liquidity One, where he supported the development and scaling of technology and infrastructure used by SEC/FINRA-registered Alternative Trading Systems (ATS).
Since 2012, he has operated as a principal and executive, known for discretion, technical fluency, and execution in high-trust, high-stakes environments.
